Lemongrass
INCI: Cymbopogon citratus
Lemongrass can be used to make a herbal tea. It is also used as a culinary herb in soups and other dishes. It will keep pests bugs away from your garden. You can also use it in dream pillows, and bath herbs. It is said to be an antidepressant and mild sedative.
Cooking
- Add dried lemongrass to soups, curries, broths, sauces, marinades, and stews

Lemongrass has a fresh, lemon-like, and floral taste. It’s also known as citronella.
You can dry lemongrass by placing it on a cookie sheet and putting it in the oven at a low temperature for about three hours. You can also sun-dry it for about five days to a week
